“My family was spoiled. As a foreigner I gambled with 8 different dishes. All delicious! Especially the ribs and sardines, delicious! Had to eat quickly or my kids would have finished it.
Kid-friendliness: They allowed us to discuss and choose in peace“

“Casinha is one of the best Portuguese food restaurants ever, the problem is choosing which day I like to eat there the most, because all the dishes are good and every day is always a good day to go eat at Casinha and on top of that To help, the sweets are equally wonderful and all homemade! Not to mention the always pleasant, familiar and tireless service, there is no customer who doesn't feel at home and doesn't want to come back! If there were more stars, I would give 20 stars! Congratulations on the excellent service!“

“A great restaurant, well-prepared food, good atmosphere, five-star service, but... there is one thing, I advise, in addition to drinks, if you order water, ask for it from the tap, because you have to pay almost 3 euros for a bottle of water, 7 which is no more than the same as the one we buy in a commercial store for less than a euro the 6 liter bottle is a little too much
Otherwise it is a good restaurant, value for money
Parking: Free weekend“

“Being born in Luanda Angola, when I found out about the restaurant, it was a must for me to try but I recommend to anyone looking for authentic Portuguese cuisine at very reasonable prices. Our bill was $50 euros for three adults including drinks (full botyle of wine), dessert and coffee and the portions won't disappoint. Located in Alges area of Lisboa, the restaurant was an easy stroll from our rented condo. It had good hours even for us North Americans who like to eat a little earlier and only one step to enter making it easily accessible. When you see locals coming in for takeout as well coming in and eating with family and friends, you know it's going to be good. Service was excellent, great selection of food from meat to seafood on the menu and even though they only had the menu in Portuguese, our server was excellent translating, answering any of our questions and explaining all dishes. Like many other family run restaurants in Lisboa, there are specific dishes only available on certain days with daily specials also on the menu. As you can understand, good, homemade traditional cooking and dishes need to be prepped in advance unless you can wait 2 or 3 hrs for your dinner for them to make it fresh at that time. The only thing that disappointed us was that we only at at the restaurant once during our stay in Alges and I missed the chicken Mumba day which is Thursdays. Loved the restaurant and ambience and can't wait to eat here again when I return to Lisboa even if I stay in another area of the city.
Dietary restrictions: Many options.
Kid-friendliness: Many families present when I ate at restaurant“

“Delicious egg tart and so-so expresso, both reasonably priced. The service is inconsistent; some days it's excellent, while on others, it's just okay. Considering the price and the quality of the egg tart, I can foresee making frequent visits in the future.“

“Conheço o restaurante, o dono e os funcionários há muitos anos. Viram crescer os meus filhos. Foram e continuam a ser uma grande ajuda para a comunidade. Incansáveis a levar as refeições a quem não pode ir ao restaurante. Na pandemia foram muitos dias o nosso contacto exterior. Simpatia e boa comida tradicional são o cartão de boas vindas. De tal forma que aqui em casa dizemos que é o restaurante do sr. Simpático :).“

“It is very pleasant to be on the terrace.
Today I opted for the juice of the day (strawberry, orange) which was great. And the chocolate cake is divine.
It was a calm and relaxing end of the afternoon, it was a shame that I went at 7pm and closed at 8pm, even though I could have stayed on the bench in the garden.
Kid-friendliness: It has a beautiful lawn for playing, reading, relaxing and for children to roam freely, play, run, socialize.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it is accessible from the Park entrance and the commercial space itself.“

“(Translated by Google) Good Portuguese food restaurant. Good steaks and good seafood. Wonderful chocolate mousse and oreo mousse. Prices ok.Employees are friendly. The environment is not so perfect because sometimes they leave the entrance door open and it gets cold, in addition to that they have a damp wall that they should fix as soon as possible.Otherwise I like it and recommend it.(Original)Bom restaurante de comida portuguesa. Bons bifes e bom marisco. Mousse de chocolate e mousse de oreo maravilhosas. Preços ok.Os empregados são simpáticos.O ambiente não é tao perfeito porque por vezes deixam a porta da entrada aberta e entra frio, para além disso têm uma parede com humidade que deveriam arranjar o quanto antes.De resto gosto e recomendo.“

“I already knew the "old" Sé da Guarda with its Fried Fish specialties, which I think no longer have the same variety. However, this time we went for the snacks and came away very pleased! Well-seasoned and tasty snails, perfectly roasted chorizo and woodpecker with tender, juicy meat accompanied by good fries.
The space becomes a bit noisy perhaps because of the protection of the tent, but in these hot months perhaps one would consider opening up the outside space more.
In the end the bill was comfortable for what we ate and drank. I advise.“
