I already knew the "old" Sé da Guarda with its Fried Fish specialties, which I think no longer have the same variety. However, this time we went for the snacks and came away very pleased! Well-seasoned and tasty snails, perfectly roasted chorizo and woodpecker with tender, juicy meat accompanied by good fries.
The space becomes a bit noisy perhaps because of the protection of the tent, but in these hot months perhaps one would consider opening up the outside space more.
In the end the bill was comfortable for what we ate and drank. I advise.

Old-fashioned restaurant, well served and high quality food. Lunches and dinners with traditional Portuguese food and among them some very good snacks of all types. The interior of the restaurant is not large but it has a covered terrace that makes up for it. Parking 250 meters away is paid but when visiting the restaurant it is free, just give them your card and they will validate it.
Very popular restaurant, it is not easy to get a table upon arrival.

Kid-friendliness: In my case, with 6-month-old twins, on the outside terrace I had no difficulty in having a meal in comfort.

Wheelchair accessibility: As there is a covered terrace, the floor is accessible.

Competence in the kitchen and in room service. Quality fish, well grilled, traditional dishes from our cuisine with homemade knowledge and flavor - stew, feijoada, beef hand, bait, grouper fillets, jaquinzinhos. Snacks of gizzards, clams, cockles, caracoletas, snails and an unbelievable sirloin woodpecker accompanied by fries like you won't find anymore. Top terrace
