Very welcoming space with very interesting ambient music! The guy serving the table was extremely friendly and with a professionalism and attention that you don't see in many (and renowned) restaurants. My real congratulations! The “queens”… The francesinha and its sauce are very tasty! Here we have the choice between normal or spicy sauce (unlike other places where, if we want spicy, they hand us a bottle of spicy sauce and “get away with it”…), the sauce is more like a liquid, typical “in the style of the Port”, tasty (personally I prefer a creamier sauce, but it’s ok! I like it!). To recommend and to repeat!

After seeing an advertising sign for Boteco da Francesinha, I decided to try it. The space is very well designed and in relation to the food itself, I have no reason to complain. But what I witnessed during the time I was there, I had never seen anywhere else. A gentleman (I think the owner/manager), calling the attention of an employee in the room, in front of everyone (customers and other employees) in a rude manner, in a loud tone and even using nonsense. There are ways to draw attention to employees, but this way is not entirely correct, in fact, there is an old saying that says: "Praise in public, correct in private!" I would venture to say that what was happening could be considered moral harassment, as it ends up exposing employees to humiliating and embarrassing situations on a repetitive basis during the working day. I really don't know how that guy managed to go back to work after every public blow. Opening a business is simple, but empathy, consideration and respect for others cannot be bought. As a customer, I felt quite uncomfortable and for this reason, I will definitely not be returning.

We decided to try this restaurant after seeing an advertisement on one of the roundabouts in Mem-Martins. We went without high expectations, but we were satisfied. It's not the best Francesinha in the world, but it's very tasty and well served. The hot sauce was very good! The space is simple and the service is friendly and attentive! We will, without a doubt, return.

How is it possible for so much evil in some criticisms?!?!?! Good atmosphere, fast service, unusual friendliness. Francesinha is at the level of the best you can eat here in the metropolis (I would cut a little on the tomato). Congratulations and don't bother commenting on toxic people ?
