An excellent find in Carvoeiro. A nice sunny terrace and very nicely presented restaurant serving an excellent range at good value. Staff were friendly and efficient, our food was first rate and other dishes we saw looked just as good. Will definitely be returning, thank you Bala Rosa!

We had a lovely evening meal here. It was busy so I recommend you book if going in the evening. It's not a big restaurant and it's not posh like some on this road but the food is very good. We had thd fish kebab and hhe meat kebab. Both cooked well and plenty of big chunky meat and fish. I had the fillet steak with creamy pepper sauce. Big peice of steak cooked to my liking medium rare. The pepper sauce was nice but not very peppery, so you might want to ask for it to be more peppery. Dad had t bone steak. He said it was good. The price, 5 meals which included wine, was €120

Lovely food, friendly staff and well priced. I had Dourada and it was well cooked and tasty. A nice complimentsry port topped off the meal well. On the edge of the busy part of town. Would recommend

Lovely mixed beef and chicken kebab with sautéed potatoes, wow, delicious. The presentation was a “wow”, in itself. Beautifully cooked, accompanied by a very refreshing red Sangria. The staff were so lovely, very friendly, I had a lovely wave from one of the waitresses when we were leaving, I really would recommend, the kebab was amazing!

Having been highly recommended by friends who live locally, we decided to celebrate our wedding anniversay meal at Bela Rosa this evening. Our table was even decorated accordingly. The welcome on arrival could not have been warmer and we were made to feel so special. Whilst I had the Surf and Turf which was cooked to perfection, my wife had the salmon in a parmesan and lemon crust. Again, cooked to perfection. Oh, and if you like chocolate, you'll love their chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert. All the staff were so attentive, and all had a smiles on their faces. They genuinely care about their guests. I can't recommend Bela Rosa highly enough. Whatever the occasion, you won't be dissapointed.

Went here with my girlfriend the other evening and it was really good food. I had the surf and turf (fillet steak and grilled prawns) and it was very very good. Steak melted in my mouth and it was up there with one of the best meals we had during our time away. My other half had the sirloin steak in peppercorn sauce and she thoroughly enjoyed that too. Service was quick and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in the area.

Having just arrived we stumbles on this place - salmon and prawn kebab plus fillet steak with Prawns- absolutely amazing!. Would definitely recommend- lovely people!

Wow ! What can I say !! We arrived at about 9 - they close at 10 normally but we’re amazing and said we could stay later - the owners are such lovely people , staff fabulous . Order food, it was out of this world tbh, the garlic prawns a maze ing ! Piri piri chicken wings amazing too , could not fault any of the starters, the mains arrived, assorted meat kebabs, lamb cutlets, piri piri prawns , all succulent the surf and turf cooked to perfection ! Thank you so much ! Our daughter has the rubber chicken???, all served with a sense of humour - fab !! We eventually left at 11.30pm ? thank you for letting us stay so late !! We had a ball ! Then to the bar next door! Super handy !!! Amazing staff, super atmosphere , amazing food …. Thank you from us all including the American one ! X
After a really poor night at a restaurant adjacent to this, we weren’t over confident when we chose to visit this restaurant. Glad to say we were wrong to feel that way. There are many restaurants in the area that thinks they are far better than they are. This one is far better than they think they are! Not at all pretentious, just great service and great food at a decent price. Garlic prawns, mixed fish kebabs, delicious swordfish. It can be so easy if done right and thanks Bela Rosa, you got it right. Easy to book.

Delicious food. Amazing value. Our waitress was great - really attentive. Everything perfectly cooked and good quality . Cannot fault it - would highly recommend the kebabs.

We had a fantastic lunch at this authentic Portuguese restaurant. It is well worth the short walk up the street from the main square. We had fresh fish of the day (Sea bass and Sea Bream), Portuguese Steak and Piri Piri Chicken. Everything was delicious and great value.
