It was excellent, the starter and food were very good, several options of food, drinks and desserts, the best restaurant in the South, from €40 to €60 with everything excellent

A large and very busy space, with a wide range of food choices visible to our eyes, which does not disappoint.Wonderful starters and I got to try veal charcoal for the first time and I was crying for more. On 03/17/24, after a trip, I decided to go to dinner at the Mar da Palha na Moita restaurant, it was the worst gastronomic experience I've ever had. At the entrance I came across a display case where there were half a dozen mesh bags with dried clams and a fish, I doubt the quality of the products in question! I sat where the waiter indicated me and, before any order, plates wrapped in cellophane paper with various products rained down on the table, the cellophane paper says a lot about the preparation of the products in question, the starters should only come to the table as they are ordered . One of the packages contained a crab shell with a pâté, I took a risk and unwrapped it, it was an artificial pâté with no flavor, I just poured it out of the can, it was accompanied by some industrialized and rubbery toast. The menus appeared, hilarious, photos of dishes taken from I don't know where and ahuge variety of dishes to choose from, I thought about how many cooks there would be in the kitchen to prepare that paraphernalia of things, pure mistake. I ordered some cod from the lagareiro, after a while they threw a "Boat" onto the table with a piece of cod surrounded by half a dozen potatoes swimming in questionable oil, the cod had a horrible texture and near the spine it was red, It was possibly defrosted in hot water and then heated, the potatoes were bitter, black and full of roots, ready to sow. My daughter and my wife ordered a pork platter, they expected a properly composed platter with meats, sauces, fruit, potatoes and perhaps a little salad, pure mistake, the platter serves as a tray to transport the pork. sleepers, it even has recesses for better support; It was made up of a platter with French fries from some time ago, they had a questionable color and appearance, a platter with some strips of meat that I don't know if it was intentional or leftovers from other platters, in the middle there were three small plastic boxes with mayonnaise, it looked like the Takeaway from the hypermarket. I no longer risked dessert! As a result, the food was left on the table and I complained about the quality, they came to ask if I wanted a box to take the rest, pure enjoyment for those who pay €68 for the rubbish described. Forgetting that they brought frozen flutes to drink mature white wine and the bill on the computer terminal where the waiter takes orders.

I was positively impressed by the staff!We had an appointment but were delayed by traffic, and even though the restaurant was full and people were waiting, they did the favor of keeping our appointment!!Furthermore, because of all the delay, we had little time to eat, but they still made sure our dishes were dispatched faster and we didn't even wait 10 minutes!!I highly recommend it ??
