I've been to the restaurant about 4 times with my wife, the first 3 times I went, I was well received, for the third time my wife doesn't eat pork and asked for the fried ones to be made, the person who served her brought 1 egg she asked for 2 due to the fact that the quantity of the garnish was much greater than the quantity of the egg (only 1) when she asked for the second one the boy made a displeased face and went to talk to someone who was at the cash register, then left and went to The kitchen, when he came back to bring me the second egg, he brought it with a bad intention and put the plate on the table anyway and even said enjoy it with an air of arrogance, he wanted to leave the plate on the table and leave... .. If a customer asks politely to change the trim, it must be treated politely. Do not embarrass your customers by being discreet. After this happened, the person who was in the kitchen went out to see the person who made the order to change the pork and eat 2 eggs ?? the embarrassment wasn't enough. I think it's over and there was some embarrassment at dessert time when my wife went to place the order and the guy corrected her saying it was in Portuguese, as if I spoke any language other than Portuguese ?‍? in the end... Better not go back there again because we have had enough unpleasant experience.

After a 45-minute wait (on the terrace with 12 empty tables because, according to the employees, they were only serving inside due to "lack of staff"), the experience makes us understand why the country's "interior" is tracks: there doesn't seem to be a will to do better or make the best available to do the job...One of the two restaurants open in Alijó on a Sunday (!), allows waiting times to exceed 90 minutes (until the end of the meal), when (and observed from the table) the dishes "waited" for more than 10 minutes on the counter before serving reach the tables.Employees (2) absolutely inept who went out to smoke twice each while we were waiting for a table...As you can see in the photo, the tables, after the customers left, stayed "ad eternum" waiting for the glasses, cutlery and plates to decide to go to the washing machine by their own means...If it weren't for the food (despite the wait), this would be one of those experiences to completely forget.However, it will not be open for many more years with this type of investment in the service...(Unfortunately, neither sympathy - none - can do more...)

My experience at Restaurante Pizzaria Margherita was regrettable. Based on public information that the restaurant would open until 10 pm and even calling to confirm they said the kitchen closed at that time, I arrived around 9:30 pm looking forward to a meal. However, I was treated rudely by the staff, who abruptly said that it was not possible to have dinner, despite the fact that there were many empty tables. It's disappointing when an establishment doesn't abide by its own information and treat customers so disrespectfully. I definitely won't be back and I can't recommend Restaurante Pizzaria Margherita to others as it depends on the mood!

Terrible experience. We are a family of 3 so we went to this place on 17.08.2023. at 20:30 as we heard the pizza is really good. When we arrived we understood that the waiters English is very bad but still he was able to communicate. He told me that they do not allow any take-away - we were surprised because we saw many pizza boxes on counter. But fine - we asked for a table and he said that no tables available. Then we saw a table on the street and asked if it’s OK - he said yes, take it. When we tried to sit there the guy came and took away all the chairs without any explication!!! We were shocked and we left. Next evening we came back at the same time since all other places were full and we decided to give another chance since no other options were available. Same story: the same guy told us that takeaway is not possible even if we saw 3 people coming in, picking up full pizza boxes and leaving!!! We asked the for a table and he said not available even if terrace was half empty. He again did it in very arrogant manner. So we understand that in fact he does not want to serve foreigners because local guys had no issue with take away and tables coming in. I never saw such a racism attitude in any country. If you are a foreigner, stay away from this place so these guys can suffocate in their racism and stupid nationalism - we live in Europe and not in some middle age country.
