I ate seafood rice at this place in 2021 and I dream of going back to it to this day. I had to book another trip to the Algarve just to be able to eat this dish again. Fresh and well seasoned in a way that doesn't become a mess on the palate. DIVINE! Quality Portuguese food.

The Cervejaria Mar is the first address to enjoy fish and seafood in all variations. You will be greeted with an aperitif by the courteous staff and asked if you want the starter (which will also be shown to you).Be sure to take it as it is the best in the area. While enjoying the starter, you can search for your favorite dish from the extensive menu. The nice thing for me is that there is time between the dishes and not everything comes one after the other. Enjoy...The selection of wines is very large and there is something for every taste.For dessert, I can only say sweet potato cakeI would recommend it because I hadn't eaten any other food.The whole team, the boss, it fits perfectly.I'm already looking forward to my next visit.Kind regards, Hubert

Unreal. I went here over a year ago in the summer of 2022, and my partner and I still talk about how delicious our meal was. Walked in with no expectations, ordered the seafood rice (I think), and found ourselves moved to near-tears by how good the food was (ok that was probably just me, and probably had something to do with the several cups of wine I drank that night). Have since sent multiple friends passing through the area to Cervejaria Mar, all of whom similarly raved about it after. Go!

Best seafood I've ever had. Stellar food and service. I normally dislike sopa de peixe, But theirs was incredible. This place is worth going out of your way for.

Came here twice during our one week stay - amazing food, amazing service. Camarão Frito dose (shrimp with garlic and chill oil) was DIVINE but everything else we tried - you can really taste that every ingredient is fresh and freshly prepared. Worth coming every evening :)

Fantastic experience! When I booked a table for this restaurant I didn't expect such a great dinner like my boyfriend and I had, despite the good reviews. We had the arroz con robalo and it was absolutely scrumptious. The setting is so full of details connected to the sea, from the walls to the menù, as well as the wash-hands basins and the entrance. I also liked the attention of the waiters that gave us a bib to protects our clothes from the stains the meal could cause. Fair prices. Definitely recommended.
