I've been going to Batikanos for some time now and I've noticed the lack of quality that has worsened over time. Just today I asked for a croissant (these are the brand's image) and this is the second time I have been served dry croissants, from the previous day or more. I don't put this here as a destructive criticism but rather a motivating one because Batikanos has always been known for its croissants and I think they still have time to recover their image.

Batikanos is one of my mother's favorite places to have breakfast when she comes to Portugal, this time we didn't go to the usual place, we came to Forum Almada since we had to go shopping.Terrible service, without a smile and without listening to the complete order (which then, if I wanted what I was missing, I had to go into a line of 4 people with my food getting cold).And the icing on the cake was that my half was toast. I saw that it was much smaller than normal and that instead of being cut vertically, they cut it horizontally, but that's it, I didn't think anything of that, except that it was small and bought what I'm used to. When I finished eating, I saw that the toast was served on a coffee saucer. My toast was the size of a coffee saucer, which is what the miniatures serve. And that's why it was cut vertically, otherwise it wouldn't have been possible to break it into 3 parts, only 2.

Batikanos in Almada was a bad experience. The low number of customers already demonstrated that nothing very good could be expected. The service was provided with indifference and a lack of understanding of the minimum standards of customer service.The food arrived a long time after ordering and there was as much lack of love in its conception as the friendliness shown by the employee.
