This is a super friendly, authentic Portuguese restaurant which has outstanding food and is fantastic value for money. We passed this restaurant in the rain and noticed how busy it was (always a good sign). The owner was standing at the door and laughed and joked with us. He was really friendly and we just had to try the restaurant. We are so glad we did. The service was outstanding despite the language barrier and super attentive. The food was amazing. Every course was outstanding. A bottle of lovely wine was only 10 euros! The whole meal, starters, mains and dessert for 2 people plus a bottle of wine and water was only 49 euros!! Tremendous value for money and quality of the food, but what made it outstanding was the owner’s attentiveness to our needs, lovely manner and friendly manner. This really made the meal and brightened up what had been a disappointing evening (we had left another restaurant due to terrible service). This restaurant and the owner in particular restored our faith in Lisbon restaurants. Absolutely outstanding. We will be back!

For me, the best roast chicken I've ever eaten, when compared to the so-called great roast chicken houses even in Lisbon, such as "A Valenciana".Well roasted, cut into 8 pieces and the sauce is very good without spicy, I've never tasted spicy.They only do shots by appointment, as it's a small house and you can't afford to throw food away.

Amazing service! Amazing food!!! The warm up is bred with a nice portion a a very nice chess and the main dish octopus was the embers one I ever tried for real!!!!!!

This restaurant is right on a Main Street but it’s as authentic as you can get. Very small family owned restaurant, fresh delicious food and very affordable prices. The owner was very friendly and funny. We are going back.
