I had lunch with my family and a few friends. The grilled fish and fish stew was good, but the service was atrocious. Our waiter struggled to keep eye contact, and was mostly rude. When we pointed out to him that our drinks and sides should have come before or at the same time as our mains, rather than a long time after, the waiter proceeded to argue and shout across the restaurant floor. This was inconsiderate and plainly disrespectful. Me and my family will not be returning to this restaurant.

You think you're going to a nice place that everyone recommends. Expect to enjoy tasty fish, crab or other Portuguese delicacies. Instead, you are cheated at the table. The waiter asks if you would like lobster with your meal. You ask how much it costs. The waiter says "a little more", giving the impression that it's on the house. His wink and smile seem to confirm this. Then the bill arrives. Instead of paying around €110, the bill comes to €332. The wink and smile quickly turns into an unpleasant situation. Whether you are a tourist or Portuguese, do not eat here. Bunch of cheaters.

Stelletje oplichters.

The grilled fish dish is TOP for 2 or 3. Impeccable service and view of the Tagus and Lisbon ? Great experience in this little one to visit ?

Overrated place, the waiters are tired, no welcome, no seating, it takes a long time to take the order, you wonder if you exist, the meals are really bad and the kitchen is minimalist and you will be invaded by flies, finally the prices are high and they dare plus ask for a tip, what nerve ? Fortunately the view of Lisbon saves the place a little otherwise the restaurant would have already closed a long time ago I think...

Restaurant that I have been going to for many years since I was a child, where I would go with my Father to eat a prego and drink a pirolito (soda) nowadays I often go from Lisbon to this very pleasant restaurant with a view of

We got there on the recommendation of someone else. It did not meet our expectations. The seafood rice and lobster were all frozen, the shrimp tasted musty. The lobster dried like a mojama and the mussels, the frozen ones from Mercadona are much better
Of course, the prawns were good and gave flavor to the rice, which was just right. In short, a dish that does not correspond to the price we paid for it. It should be specified if you are eating fresh or frozen. Actions like this only make customers not trust that restaurant. You have to pay for quality but don't give in. I also had bad luck with the election. But I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

I have never written a poor review on a restaurant but wanted to share our experience. We were recommended by a local tour guide, so I felt like my guard was down.

First I made the mistake of asking our waiter for recommendations instead of studying the menu. The overzealous waiter recommended us to order the seafood combo platter (137 euro) and also the grilled lobster (172 euro for 1 lobster). The waiter HIGHLY recommended the lobster. I was excited, this lobster must be like a wagyu lobster or something to be THAT pricey. I asked the waiter if this was too much food for three people, he said no!

The food was okay. I should have read the menu closely that the mistos combo is mostly different variations of hot and cold shrimp with a few selections of clams and crab. I don’t mind paying extra for quality seafood, but almost everything came out doused in garlic butter. This is fine with a few dishes but the seafood drowning in butter hid any freshness that *may* have existed. And the expensive lobster? I felt like I was eating an oversized shrimp. I wish I had kept my original plan of octopus which would have added more variety to the spread, and would have been less expensive.

In the end, we were not able to finish all the food, and there was leftover (8 large shrimps and a few crab pieces, untouched). The waiter quickly and carefully ONLY took away the platter with the untouched food and disappeared into the kitchen. He left the dirty plates with shells and trash on the table the rest of the time we were there. Typical restaurant service is the opposite: the waiter normally clears the trash first and leaves the uneaten food. At first I thought he was boxing the leftovers for us to take home… nope. We never saw the food again. I have suspicions about what happened to the leftovers when we left.

At the end, the waiter mentioned to us that owner takes all the tip added to the bill and does not give any to the waitstaff, so he encouraged us to tip in cash, which we did. We paid over 350 euros total for dinner for three people. For this expensive amount, I had imagined we were getting a five star food experience. We started out really excited to come here but left disappointed. Don’t make my mistakes—I should have ordered like a local (a la carte), and I should have been more careful in clarifying the menu with the waiter instead of trusting his judgement. It was an expensive lesson for a tourist.

The wait staff try to upsell and would not allow us to leave until we leave a tip they set. Is there something we misunderstood? The service left us with a sour taste at the end after a decent meal. Would avoid and try other nearby restaurants.
