It was amazing before the new owner in Almada. I had a wonderful experience before, the burger was delicious. But when I came back with family in october 2023, we had to wait long , we had to sit outside because the smell of frying oil was too much, only to have super stingy portions of fries, burgers with barely any chicken, we had asked for spicy yet nothing had spice, the sauce was only ranch sauce nothing spicy. Pizza was not good anymore. I dunno what happened but I'm never going back. So disappointed by the new owner who clearly doesn't know what good quality food is. It was a waste of money. Didn't even bother taking pics , because we only take pictures of amazing dishes.

Passed this on the way back from the remote 'Valley of the Nuns' - Curral das Freiras. You would miss it if you weren't looking out for it (in fact we did and had to go back!) Tiny place by the side of the road. Fire burning at the side in an open barbeque oven full of glowing embers. We had the skewered meat cooked over this fire with salad and chips. Simple and absolutely delicious. Sat looking out over the road, but very quiet and so atmospheric - like you were in another time!
