Away from tourists. We went to this little restaurant away from the world by pure chance. We were very well received by a waiter who made the effort to understand us in English. We ate well, but you have to be careful with the portions. The bacalhau for example for one person can easily accommodate two people if you take a small entry. Very hearty! Quite a typical Portuguese tavern (that's a compliment) with delicious food and a simple atmosphere. We took octopus salad, pork medallions with shrimp, and appetizers. And of course, wine (mushkatel - fortified muscatel, special in the region)
The octopus was tasty, but the salad had too much onion. You can't put onions with an octopus! )) (for this reason I removed one star from the rating) The rest of the dishes were perfectly prepared, the portions were of course large.
The service is young guys, polite, with humor - they invited us to come back. The atmosphere is relaxed. A worthy choice if you're nearby!

Very kind, they have recommended us some other dish.Food 10. Generous quantity.I ordered rice with seafood for myself and it was delicious. Quite loaded with shrimp and tongs The shrimp were the best I've ever had, they had a lot of flavor.My companion ordered a Picanha a la Brasileira and it was tremendous. The best meat done this way that I have ever eaten. Just right, juicy and tender and with an exquisite flavor.I hope to return to repeat.

I ordered a 1/2 Picanha to the point which was delicious. It's been a long time since I've eaten such good, juicy meat. The dish was filling (served along with some beans that cannot be seen in the photo), I have eaten so much that I won't have dinner tonight haha. Very good quality-price.As for the staff, a 10. My congratulations to both waiters and cooks. 100% recommended.
