This was the best pro-client approach during the stay in Lisboa. We stopped by after visiting the Statue. We were group of 6 adults and despite the seating was rather decent, we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Together with the waitress and owner we figured out our dishes. Finally we had typical rice with seafood, rice with octopus and cod with rice. The food was delicious and the portions were huge (one for two people should have been fine). We finished with home made desserts and selection of spirits. It was great stop, we learned a little portugese from the owner and left with good feelings. Altogether for starters, 6 dishes, 3l of sangia, desserts and spirits, we paid some €150. We are happy to have had this experience and wish to return to O Palácio.
Very good lunch and very well prepared homemade food - Portuguese stew and chicken steaks with cream and mushrooms. Very friendly prices.

Few tables, because there is a lot of crowd at lunchtime and sometimes you have to wait.
Parking: There is never space in street parking, between 9 am and 2 pm. You have to park at Lidl and walk a little. I only ask because there is only one lane on this street, when the sidewalk is more than wide. There are few people on foot who go to the Court and the Hotel. This is a waste of useful space. Are some trees that only hinder car parking because they motivate them to remain there?

David's family is big. Until a year ago he was calling us to ask about the progress of our brother Carlos who unfortunately was sick at the García Orta Hospital. I want to go back there next December 26th for lunch and say Christmas wishes to the O Palacio family
