The Alentejo toast with cheese was very disappointing.
There was only 1 slice of cheese in the middle that you couldn't even taste....
It really was like a toast with butter... And I paid 3.20 for it.

We also bought the dog, which for 2.05 was much tastier than the toast...

The Berlin balls were ordinary, nothing special... The dough wasn't so fluffy...

Anyway, for toast, I don't recommend...
A decent, airy pitstop as we walked down from the top of the hill. Cakes good, coffee good, service fine. There was plenty of seating and everything was clean. What's not to like?
Typical and traditional Portuguese pastry shop where you can buy the usual cakes and their miniatures, the manufacturing quality is good and the prices are not excessive. The staff are competent and experienced.Recommended for everyday use as it doesn't disappoint and has quality.
