We ate well but be careful the prices displayed are not the same as on the menu and there is no receipt for the bread you have to pay for. It was the next day while walking past that I saw the scam.

I discovered this lovely restaurant while walking around Almeida and what a find! The cozy atmosphere, decorated with beautiful ceramics on the walls and the music of Edith Piaf in the background, created an atmosphere of tranquility. I tried the snails and cod with cream, accompanied by a loaf of bread, which were delicious. I couldn't leave without trying the coffee and cream cake, simply spectacular! The dishes were taken care of and the staff's attention was attentive but not overwhelming. An excellent quality-price ratio. I recommend it 100%!

The sizes are very small. It has been expensive for Portugal. If the dishes are so small it should be exquisite. The problem is that it is not like that. They bring you bread, butter and olives and charge you if you eat them even if you haven't asked for them. Apparently, it's typical of Portugal that they charge you for things you didn't order if you eat them. The letter is small.
