Petfriendly but little. Upon arrival we were told that the dog could stay if the other customers didn't mind… From then on our experience was not the best. The chef was friendly, the waitress not so much. Neither bread nor starters were brought to us. Putting the service aside, we were in for the food as the restaurant is well rated. The main dishes leave something to be desired. The feathers were very well prepared, but the sauce was too sweet and ruined the dish. The same as those stuffed with flour; the farinheira deserved a touch and the sauce is again very sweet. There is no contrast. The crumbs weren't exactly good either. We chose not to order dessert. Prices are in line with the score, high for reality.

What a beautiful surprise... Beautiful restaurant, very welcoming, located within the cloisters of a convent in Almodôvar. With a gourmet menu, but without forgetting regional cuisine, we enjoyed some beautiful Alentejo migas with asparagus alongside delicious pork plumage stuffed with alheira and some tenderloins with a port wine reduction. Everything was well "washed down" with delicious sangria and with the friendliness and good care of both the Chef and his wife. Of course, despite being very satisfied, we didn't want to leave without trying the pear cooked in a mixture that combined saffron and star anise accompanied by a scoop of ice cream. Very fair price/quality ratio Coming back without a doubt ?☺️?

Already the second visit to this restaurant, the first time on a business trip with the test of motorcycles from a famous German brand. The second time with a friend during a motorbike trip, I will not be able to recommend this superb restaurant with excellent quality cuisine and a breathtaking duck breast. It’s quite funny that it’s a Cuban who revisits this traditional French recipe..
