“Super tasty food, definitely recommended for a cheap meal on the strip. I bought chicken wings with fries for €7.50, and they look exactly like the photos in the other reviews. Soft drinks are €2.50, which is also a good price, and you can also order delicious salads for €3.00. Even if you are already full enough from a full plate of one of the main courses.

Definitely recommended if you want to eat cheaply, quickly and deliciously, without it feeling like fast food.“

“I visited on Wednesday 10th July as a place I had saved on my maps while visiting Portugal, and I was happy I did. such a lovely warm welcoming visit and a nice atmosphere to watch the match without all the madness of the strip. I was a solo traveller and felt so comfortable visiting the Yorkshire tavern by my self (felt like my local at home ) they looked after me and so did the other holiday visitors and helped me get a taxi back to my hotel so I did not walk down the mad strip by my self. the local beer was so nice and I enjoyed the company of everyone there while watching the match, like I said felt like home from home. thank you so much for your lovely welcoming and atmosphere, I did truly have a good night. We sat outside in the lovely sun and as it got a bit cooler in the evening we moved inside to the cosiness of a n irish bar. “The best camping experience we have had, they are very helpful and super friendly, they have bathrooms, a shower, electricity, a little bar and a food truck and everything is very well decorated and decorated in a vintage country style. I recommend them with my eyes closed and without a doubt if we return to the Algarve on another occasion we will stay with them again! And also very economical. “Hi, We love this bar. The owners are so nice & go that extra mile. There is often good music too. They show football rugby etc. Going back soon for food. They do nice hearty home cooked food. Spotless & always friendly. Not over priced and vert reasonable.“

“Went to Coffee Zen in May 23 for drinks enjoyed the atmosphere and beers, Came Back in May 24 , New staff but staff member remembered us from previous hotel we stayed in which was really nice and made us very welcoming, Got breakfasts , Nice and filling, , New owners in 2024 will deferentially be back“

“Booked for Sunday lunch, which was fabulous. We have never been before, so we thought we would give it a try. The lunch was lovely, beef and pork, roasties, carrot and swede, cabbage, green beans, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, followed by homemade choice of desserts all for 14 euros. We were made to feel so welcome. The family made the afternoon, and they were so friendly. We had a fabulous few hours. There was also a singer who was very good. You do need to book for the Sunday lunch. Would highly recommend. Drink prices were very reasonable, too. Enjoy ?“

“Lima is a small family run restaurant just near the Brejos/ Montechoro roundabout and near the new Intermarche Hypermarket. My family and friends have been patrons of this superb eatery for 19 years. Remarkable value down to earth meals. I particularly recommend the Seabass with potatoes and salad. But ask them to hold off on the amount of salt they tend to cook with. Also they have a lovely local white veno verde on tap ,- great fizzy taste. Recommended.

Parking: Small Carpark outside with street parking also.

Found this lovely traditional friendly Bar and Grill in a quiet village away from all the tourists, selling simple English and Italian food. Personal service great atmosphere with mostly locals. Well worth the 30 minute drive north of Vilamoura. What we did is spend a lazy afternoon wandering round Loule a beautiful Portuguese town then take a 15 minute drive west over to the bar for an evening meal. Child friendly warm welcoming atmosphere. “The absolute best time! Kirsty was an angel to deal with. She came back to me so quickly with all queries I had. “We visited this place twice while staying at Cerro Malpique appartments which is just round the corner from Joseph's bar , there is very little else in this area so it's perfect if you don't want to walk into town .On our first visit we had the Lamb Chops and T bone steak both dishes were so tasty and cooked to perfection , the plate of Lamb Chops were huge 6 Chops to be exact , we left feeling very satisfied. Because of the food and service we recieved we decided to go back a few days later . We had the Lasagne , and Sirloin Steak , the Sirloin was OK but overcooked we didn't complain as it was only slightly overcooked and still palatable .The Lasagne I expected to be home made , alas it wasn't it was one of those chilled ones you can purchase in most supermarkets , trust me I know as I,m a Chef , I didn't complain because it doesn't state on the menu "home made" but it's was a big disappointment, nevertheless this place is well worth a visit if your in the area , with mostly home made dishes with the exception of the Lasagne.“
