A beautiful discovery of this Alentejo of ours, we arrived, we came back and returned, we were welcomed in a family atmosphere, modest, filled with friendliness and good wine, at meal time the stars go to, the chicken in the oven, the cheeks, the broken eggs, the octopus , the cod, and of course the wonderful panito. Conquered by the belly, by the affection, yes again and again.

We came to try the restaurant based on the photos of the dishes we saw on both Google and Trip Advisor. The restaurant has a typical Alentejo atmosphere where the space is pleasant. The service didn't start well from the start, I ordered a 25cl imperial and they only filled the glass up to the 20cl mark. We ordered broken eggs for starters. The eggs and potatoes were on point but the capers and sausages added too much salt to the dish, which was not balanced in flavor. For the main course we ordered the cheeks which came with crumbs. The cheeks were very good and tender, however, the crumbs left much to be desired, as they were too salty. To finish we ordered the brownie which was good but nothing extraordinary. For the price I would expect a better experience.
