Excellent food, the chef is an arrogant lantern, with nothing more to say about him.
The rest of the staff are excellent and always helpful.

Good professionals, with excellent supervision from the chef (boss).
A tradition that comes from afar.

Parking: Along the entire avenue, free, without major difficulties.

We went by chance, and everything was great. Very delicious food, very attentive waiters, fast service, very good value for money and delicious desserts.

We went from Manta Rota to eat some seafood, because there isn't any there. Good service and good food, although I have eaten zapateiras that were better, but it was not bad. The octopus was delicious. I have also eaten better Molotov for dessert, which is not that it was bad, but the truth is that I usually eat in various restaurants throughout Portugal.

I haven't been in years, everything is as spectacular as ever, the food is wonderful and the service is incomparable.
It has been an incredible experience to meet again with this site and its employees.

Really enjoyed our dinner at A Chaminé, the grilled sardines and the fried whitebait were delicious! Very friendly staff too.

We made a reservation for dinner, two days in advance, for a table for 8 people. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were told that there was no reservation, and we were even asked to confirm the number we had called. After clarifying that we contacted the correct number, we were given a table that would be “reserved” for other people, despite the restaurant not being full.
We started on the wrong foot, and we continued like that. The food was reasonable, however the service could not have left more to be desired.
To ask for something we would have to do it two or three times and it was very difficult to get any employee's attention.
When we placed the order, two picanha dishes were chosen, one with well-done meat and the other medium-cooked. When one of the picanha dishes arrived, we asked if it would be medium-cooked or “well done”, a question to which we got the following answer “when the other one arrives, you will see and exchange”. When the next picanha arrived, it was equally, very stale…
In the years that this same group attended the “A Chaminé” restaurant, they had never experienced such precarious service.

Fast and professional service. 4 years ago we ate very good cod pastries as a starter, excellent tomato rice to accompany the rooster fish fillets. The shrimp fillets were good but I wasn't a fan. A 5-star chocolate mousse. This time, we opted for a salmon and tuna salad, but it was modest. There was little tuna and as such, a lack of salt. Empirial is 5 stars. Then we ordered salmon and cuttlefish. They were both cooked, but the potatoes were horrible, they looked like potatoes that had been cooked for hours and had been microwaved with oregano on top. Thus, the speed of service increases but the quality plummets and undermines Portuguese food. If you order these dishes, say that you want real boiled potatoes and not fast food inventions. The Algarve almond pie fell far short. This year I ate very fresh tuna belly but I wasn't a fan. And horse mackerels with tomato rice which were excellent. three delights that were divine. Reasonable coffee

The fish was very fresh and very well prepared, the desserts were not fresh, the puff pastry was a little dry and so was the tiramisu. The service was satisfactory although not very friendly.

It's still an excellent site. Good fish, good seafood, good meat, excellent desserts and they even had a wonderful port. I'm leaving very happy.

Highly recommended restaurant, it offers the typical welcome starter of sardine and butter pate, fresh cheese, and also cod croquettes. Then both the rice and the meat are very good and at a good price. I also recommend trying the millefeuille, of which I added a photo. The grilled octopus I would say is not really grilled. And be careful because they do not allow, in principle, to go with the dog.
