Mediterranean Restaurants near Alvalade

“Typical Alentejo restaurant, nothing fancy, but very welcoming.
It seemed like a family business even down to the jobs, there was a girl who was very friendly, while the two men we saw were very helpful but had few words or smiles.
However, the food was divine, we had octopus rice for dinner, the best I've ever had in my entire life, and super brothy had to be eaten with a spoon ? our son ate mixed grill, also super tasty, freshly roasted meats and homemade fries.
Desserts were also good, everything homemade, however I found both my egg white tart and my husband's homemade pudding extremely sweet... ?

“We had drinks on our first night in this lovely bar. So good we visited several more evenings. Good choice of wine and beer. Friendly staff and a well run place. Lovely decor even the loos were great. If you get an outside table it is fabulous for people watching.“

“Vimos alguns comentários e cá viemos nós. Que boa surpresa!!! O pessoal é simpático e a comida simples mas muito bem confeccionada. A entremeada e bifes estavam mto bons mas a sobremesa... A sobremesa é outro assunto... Estava estupidamente deliciosa... Tarte de chocolate com caramelo salgado que maravilha de sobremesa. E a um ótimo preço.“
