The menu is mostly based on well-prepared Alentejo dishes. On market days there was a lot of movement, but the waiting time was not very long. As the dining room is small, the space reserved for the cafe was also occupied. The service was quite fast and efficient.
Yes ma'am, we were going to Vidigueira on a motorbike and looking for a place to have lunch a little late. Advised by some gentlemen in another village they told us "At Alvito, The Frenchman always serves good food". And then there we were very well received, in a space with its simplicity we opted for the dishes of the day, types and well prepared and for a very modest price. Excellent surprise in the middle of Alentejo I ordered monkfish rice in a risk, as in this area the predominance is pork meat, it was excellent it was fast service 5 stars. if I go to the area I will repeat it again for sure because I loved it
