Typical Portuguese food restaurant. There's a lot of variety on the menu at reasonable prices, a little over 10 euros per dose. The dishes are very prepared and in large quantities. The cuttlefish and seafood feijoada is very good. The desserts are great, especially the farófias and the almond tart.

I went to Beira Alta for the first time and I loved it. You can see that the dishes are made on the day, the food is very well prepared. I recommend ordering the fish fillets as they are excellent and the rice pudding is divine. I'll go back there again. Well-cleaned space, calm environment

Family dinner, although we had made a reservation a couple of hours in advance, it was easy to find a table. The food was all quite tasty. Highlight for the beef steak ???? from the meat to the quality of the side dishes. It lives up to the price (15.50€+/-). I ordered stewed veal, dish of the day. Very tasty! I replaced the mashed potatoes with vegetables (broccoli, carrots and greens). As far as I know, the other steaks didn't disappoint either, however the butter and garlic steak was a surprise. I wasn't expecting it to also come with cream... In my mind I imagined something else. They all had rice and potatoes as a side dish. The homemade desserts were very good too ☺️

My assessment is due to the fact that on Father's Day I contacted them to make a reservation at this restaurant and they said they did not make reservations at this restaurant. So I went to the place and stood in line with 6 other people who accompanied me, two of whom were 78 and 85 years old. While I was in line with just one couple in front, other groups appeared, first a group of five people known by the house, they didn't have to wait, they got in front of us almost immediately, later a group of 3 people arrived, as they were also acquaintances from the house and also without any reservation, they entered the establishment and a place was found immediately. An hour had already passed when a group of 6 people who were always waiting with us and arrived later also entered. When we entered we found that the group of 5 and the other group of 6 had the same size table as ours, but ours only had one more chair. This day should have been special, but this restaurant ruined everything for the benefit of friends! Due to the delay in waiting and receiving assistance, some will end up arriving late for work. And in the end, some liked the food, others didn’t…
