A very cozy place, with a comforting interior, a covered exterior for different climates, and super friendly, I repeat, attentive service. Excellent food, well served and plentiful.
Exceptional food, including the hunting rabbit, which is a true specialty, as well as the divine Amaranthines and camel drool. Kind and dedicated team. Busy atmosphere at the weekend, which is to be expected and as reservations are not taken, I recommend arriving early to avoid longer waits. Restaurante a Quelha is a place where we came without rushing to enjoy the best of the country and which I recommend as a mandatory stop in Amarante.
They do not accept reservations and when you arrive at the restaurant and are informed that more staff are waiting, they do not allow those present to sit down. You have to wait for everyone to arrive, but in the meantime other people are coming in.
