Wonderful place for breakfast, I recommend the avocado toast, coffe is delicious, very tasty, I totally recommend. A must.
This place gets a lot of attention on YouTube, so we gave it a go. It’s a bit claustrophobic, the tables are fairly close together, so if you like your space this mightn’t be for you. The food was top notch and the staff were friendly, so top marks here!
We stopped by Heim for breakfast during a week day. No wait lines. The service was prompt and staff friendly. We ordered the Avotoast - delicious!
We visited Heim for brunch and it was good. I ended up ordering the pancakes and they were yummy. I was a little disappointed because I was hoping to order the highly rated breakfast churros. However, the waitress told me that it was included in the large breakfast option which I wouldn’t have been able to eat all to myself. The waiters were very friendly and it was clearly a popular cafe because it was full by the time we were leaving.
Serendipity rained down upon me with my first walking to Tiffin Cafe (fechado) and then winding up at Brunch here. I stood waiting till the clock struck 9:00am, they’re so punctual in Lisbon, not a minute sooner. The girls here were a flurry of activity. And they met me with a lovely flat white, a shot, and a regular coffee! And still I’m not at my usual pot of brew but it was good here. I opted for their magnificent brunch, at 17 euro it’s truly a bargain. It will fill, satisfy, and leave you with a smile from ear to ear. I know in Lisbon to the locals it’s “pricey” but to me to get fresh, creative, and abundant fare of this quality it’s perfect. The locals need to travel and get a idea what a good breakfast costs in London or NYC. You get half of this with crappy quality for the price. It’s all relative ain’t it? Check my pics but it’s green eggs, avocado, muesli, yogurt, toast, French toast etc. Your day will begin in earnest and for a guy that doesn’t eat breakfast this was a blast! Happy to stumble here.
Very tasty food! Really nice staff and beautiful atmosphere, coffee was ok.. Would recommend. We will come back.
This cafe offers great food and coffee, friendly staff, would deffo recommend for a nice lunch while visiting Lisbon!!
So delicious! Sometimes have to wait but there’s a shaded spot on the other side of the road and a waiting list system that gets you in as quickly as possible! Staff are lovely, attentive and helpful even when it’s busy. Food was amazing, we went twice during our short time in Lisbon because I couldn’t stop thinking about the Salmon Waffles. ?
Best Avotoast and Cappu Freddo in Lisbon, possibly all of Portugal. The fried eggs and bacon with hot peppers were also delicious but I would have put more bacon and more hot peppers. My only complaint was the the place is too small for its popularity and people linger like at hipster cafés. Hey yuccies, close your laptops and books and mosey on when you see people waiting on the street.

Buzzy environment. In a residential backstreet, 15 minute walk from the very commercial and overrated Time Out Market. Popular with the proverbial Millennial and Gen Z cohorts, for want of a better way to describe the clientele… and throw in some tourists. The local clientele all tapping away on their Apple Macs. Charming staff. Hip playlist for atmosphere. Good coffee. Menu’s excellent for a healthy brunch but truth be told, you could get the same menu in any modern, hip cafe or eatery in Europe, LA, Seattle, Stockholm, or Australasia. But all the same, I like brunch as a format and any place, like this one, that has a laid back vibe.
Excellent food. However, its quite a small place and was extremely busy so there was a wait to get a table and service was quite slow. Not really a warm welcome / great service but the food was worth it.
I accidentally found Heim Cafe on instagram while doing plans for my Lisbon trip. About 2 months I enjoyed Heim Cafe food and atmosphere through their instagram stories. And I mean - their stories are so different and artsy!! When I arrived to Lisbon airport with my friends, we firstly took a taxi and had a lunch at Heim Cafe! What a meal in this beautiful atmosphere!! We, Northern Europeans, absolutely enjoyed the fresh orange juice, avocado sandwiches, coffee and of course the sunshine! The welcome to Lisbon was amazing! We had to wait until we could get into our air bnb home, so we just relaxed at Heim Cafe, enjoyed the food and beautiful people around us!
I've only been here once but do plan on going back as there were so many great options on the menu. Being vegetarian sometimes limits choice but not here!
this is my favorite place in lisbon. my friends and i go every time we go to lisboa. the food is amazing, vegan, gf & lf options and super nice staff.
