Formidable tavern on one of the main streets. A lot of homemade food. They took it easy to serve, but maybe we should be more patient and relax our expectations.

Small, family-run restaurant frequented mainly by locals, menu with various tapas and local dishes.
We tasted several things and accompanied everything with some house wine. It was all very good.
Fast but attentive service. Incredibly low prices even considering the quality of what we ate.
Absolutely recommended

Small tavern where you feel good.
The petiscos (tapas) are very good, varied and plentiful.
There were 6 of us and we shared several plates with friends, accompanied by a good red wine from the Douro (Papa Figos).
The owner is very friendly and speaks French and the prices are very reasonable, 15 euros per person.
Thank you for this first good contact upon our arrival in Portugal...

The region's vinho verde is delicious.
The soup is very good, the chorizo asado made in front of us. Large quantities at low prices.
Special mention to the owner who speaks French.

Small and cozy place run by charming staff where you can have some "petiscos". The pataniscas are extraordinary.

It is a small but very cozy place and the staff is charming. We ordered breaded pork fillets, cod fritters and tomato rice, all delicious and homemade. Very cheap.

The food is incredible, the service is friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that it is small, which means you have to wait outside.

Wow! The simplest, yet freshest and most delicious local food!
Plates are mostly tapas style, order 2-4 per person. Since every dish is freshly prepared, be perhaps a bit more patient. However, the owner himself will tend to you.
Every single dish we had was truly wonderful in its simplicity, quality and flavor.
