The restaurant is very pleasant, I saw criticisms regarding the price, but I disagree, I thought it was a good value for the quality of the service and what I ate, I shared a francesinha that was served on different plates with sauce and individual potatoes.
I was taken in by the billboard "best Francesinha" because I'm a big fan of this dish I ordered a Spark / from the house, frankly the worst sauce I've ever eaten, all the ingredients were good. It was accompanied by a salad with ingredients to order and not only did ingredients not come as the preparation was poor and without any seasoning.1.5€ for 5 shrimp brains... I think quality can be achieved by small details....
Early May; we've come to magical Amarante during a more relaxed tourist season. Looking to lunch riverside not all of the more well-known "finer" river side restaurants were open... so we continued walking until by chance we found ourselves at the "end of the road" riverside speaking and happened upon this wonderful Telepizza restaurant.The "diner / takeout" modest name and look of the menu belies the quality of food: excellent. Our salad greens...
