Excellent parking, appreciable appearance of the building, good terrace.
Simple but pleasant starters, namely the homemade olives. An excellent bread.
Leitão did justice to his fame and the comments here. Well prepared, well seasoned, juicy. The side option was the salad, which was of good quality, as were the fries.
I never stopped looking at other dishes that passed by and that looked good.
Quality private label wines. The white is fresh, light, fruity but with body and very pleasant. The red DOC has its own personality, with category. The sparkling wine is full-bodied but fresh, and goes very well with suckling pig.
Desserts complement the meal very well.
A reference for service, in a house that has been passed down for generations. Simplicity, friendliness, dedication to the customer.
A small (and not important) repair for the space. Large, with simple decoration but which conveys tranquility, benefiting from being divided into several rooms. The furniture needs to be modernized, but that's all the problems!
Definitely a repeat.

As the evaluation of the service begins with the starters and only ends after the coffee, I give an evaluation ** on the meal because the olives in the starters tasted rotten, to which the employee's attention was drawn, he shrugged his shoulders. When looking at the remaining tables, the olives were still uneaten. Regarding the dishes served, they were well prepared and well served. What I didn't like was the starters.

Parking: Some seats near the entrance and many others in front of the restaurant, but on the other side of the road.

Horrible: burnt grilled fish, soft olives, medieval-style wine jug, made of clay, moldy and spilled, puts down moldy jug and... around 40 minutes waiting for the grill. The bathroom facilities are old and dirty, the upholstered chairs are the same as they were at least 33 years ago and it shows. I don't recommend it at all. I gave one star because I can't give less.

Friday night. Two tables to order. We (2) were table number 3. After 15 minutes inside the restaurant, we received the menu. They bring the starters: olives and 2 freshly baked bread... From the microwave. We ordered 2 servings of grilled black pork feathers (one of the chef's suggestions). We waited 56 minutes for our order: cold meat, cold fries, a small helping of rice and beans, freshly cooked straight out of the can, without any seasoning. People who arrived after us got served first, the couple who arrived immediately after us started to eat when we finished. Groups of 4 people coming in at 9:15pm and being sent away (kitchen closes at 10pm) with the huge room with more than half of the tables empty. Time to pay, they offer the price of a shot of food to make up for mediocre service. Not to repeat.
