When you enter a restaurant and everyone welcomes you with such a good vibe that they even change your chip, it is a good sign. We came to eat in battle because we were taking a flight in two hours. 24 euros (12 per head), a plate of breasts with gratin cheese and tomato and a salad with homemade fries (simple but delicious), a hamburger with all the possible sacraments and 3 Pepsi Zero. Good price, everything delicious and unbeatable treatment. I recommend it 100%.

Tremendous. It doesn't matter what you ask for. Seriously it doesn't matter. EVERYTHING is great and EVERYTHING at an unbeatable price. Essential on the island. By the way, they have Estrella Galicia beer in any of its versions...

Simple. Cheap. Very good. They know the right amount of salt. They don't hide bad ingredients with seasonings, the customer knows what they're eating. We recommend.

Inconspicuous from the outside but nice ambience inside for a restaurant in the village. Nice service and good food. I might not go if there was an important football game coming up.

Great surprise. Last minute choice, without much feedback. The entire experience with a lot of personality, from the location to the food presented. Definitely coming back. I recommend the Parmagiana rice.

We ate the dish of the day, which was barbecue and a bitoque. The potatoes and salad were not seasoned but there were all the seasonings on the table to suit your taste.

It became my worst and most overpriced food experience in the Azores, sadly enough. The atmosphere was nice, it looked like many locals were enjoying, staff was friendly. But seafood there is way to costly for being so bad: shrimps felt still cold inside (I would not be surprised if they were just microwaved), had absolutely no sauce on them (!), and were covered with a lot of chopped fried garlic that tasted absolutely nothing (guess it was also precooked). Octopus was overcooked, no "juiciness" in the "meat" and no taste, and also covered with a sheer amount of same tasteless fried garlic. My husband's steak was overcooked and tasteless, also with no sauce whatsoever and covered with the same chopped fried garlic. It costed 50 euros, and the best part of that lunch was beer. Maybe this place is good when it comes to other dishes, but for the good and fresh seafood I would not recommend it.
