The first and only time I went there, the only reason for my disappointment, was a group dinner where everyone paid their own dish with various meats, dessert and drink included, when they served they didn't bring the individual meats for each person, that is, if only I want what I'm entitled to, it would be a plate of various meats just for me...it was all in sauce. I was not informed that the dishes were to be shared, nor was it mentioned on the paper containing the group dinner menu. That's why I don't give it 5 *****

We had a really good meal here. I had very good grilled cod (which they apparently don’t actually fish there) with grilled veg and rice. My husband opted for the pork ribs, fried polenta (delicious) and grilled veg. Vegetables seem like an afterthought in many of the Azorean restaurants but here they are really good. (We had carrots and broccoli.) Massive servings, but that’s par for the course. If we were to go again, I’d probably order the fried polenta, the grilled veg, and maybe just an appetizer. (Despite the big servings, I remember my husband still having room for dessert.)

I tried picanha steak with the typical brasilian sides: black beans, rice, fried platano, french fries, farofa, salad, fried polenta. Everything was good but not special...the meat was medium cooked and not rare as asked. The grilled octopus tasted good but looked like it was boiled and not roasted. The desserts were ok. With a bottle of wine, we spent 25€ each.

What a terrific lunch! The strip steak was fantastic and cooked perfectly, the sides were perfect, crispy polenta, coleslaw and roasted potatoes were incredible! The dessert selection was awesome, we had the caramelized pineapple and the chocolate cake…both were great! This was our second visit and we may go back!

Came a cross this restaurant, in a calm place with a terrace. The food was absolutely amazing! Took the T bone Toma Hawk, super well cooked, the sides dishes were very tasty as well as the grilled pineapple as a dessert. The service was great, they took good care of us, nice, efficient and professional. One of the best restaurant of Azores to me

Great food for the value. We enjoyed the restaurant. Very nice airco, especially in the hot and humid weather. The staff is very nice. The chocolate cake is amazing but a large portion so I would recommend sharing ;)
