“Best restaurant on the island so far! Don't expect something cheap, but everything was divine: the octopus... the tuna... the fillet mignon... the side dishes... the desserts!! Would 1000% recommend to anyone!! The employees were extremely friendly!!
Everything was divine!
I recommend making a reservation.“

“A mix of a traditional Azorean restaurant and a more upscale place. When you arrive, you first have to pass the snackbar terrace to go towards the restaurant entrance. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
Traditional dishes include grilled fish in a tile (the tile actually comes from Madeira). One big tile can be shared by two people. They also have a couple of dishes which most kids like (spaghetti as well as the full menu from the snackbar).
You get a tablet at your table to go through the digital menu and order the food and drinks that you want. Personally I prefer to talk about the menu with the staff and order it directly from them. Now every guest has to go through the whole menu and some items are not easy to find (e.g. a single glass of wine). That doesn't finish the quality of the food, so just a personal opinion.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of choice, given the fact that the restaurant also provides you access to the snackbar menu. Kids can explore the outdoor area on the terrace with a great ocean view.“

“Good place for a fancy dinner inside or a pizza outside. Although they wouldn't mind if you would do it the other way round. Good Italian food; antipasti, pasta and pizze. Carne e pesce a bit more expensive, pizze cheap and very good (woodoven!).“

“It was the only vegan dish they had but the day we went they had the soup of the day that was also vegan. I REALLY enjoyed the chickpeas and since we were hiking and walking the whole day, this was a great dish to fuel yourself! Service was really nice and they have a nice little terrace.“

“We ate both at the restaurant (upstairs) and at the snack bar (downstairs).
The restaurant is minimal and elegant, with refined and refined dishes at very honest prices. Memorable fish!
The snack bar at lunch served us an excellent burger and club sandwich like champions.
Pleasant and helpful staff on both floors.
Highly recommended! 5 star restaurant. Snack bar 4 abundant.“

“We had the seafood rice for two. It was huge, had plenty of shrimp, muscles and clams and tasted heavenly. I also had the Morcela (blood sausage) with Pineapple appetizer which was outstanding and also a huge portion. The house wine was good too. Overall it was great!“

“We went for our first lunch on the island. There were only local restaurants. We didn't eat but their desserts were in great demand. The environment is very friendly and casual. We ate swordfish, it was very good. The service was fast and friendly.“

“Service is sometimes slow, but it's a great place to go for a cocktail or a beer. I was a little disappointed that they didn't know the types of beer they sell there, but I was lucky and chose one that was delicious!
The cocktails are also good, and they know how to make a good gin and tonic.
More recently I went to dinner with a group of friends, the service lived up to expectations despite the food being a little salty.
Overall, I liked the red fruit sangria, as well as the different food.“

“Good food, good service and very good air conditioning. If you don't make a reservation for dinner you can expect to wait between half an hour and an hour, at lunch time we found no problem. Just detail that they have a small extraction problem since you come out smelling like food, otherwise highly recommended.“

“Taking into account how little movement this restaurant has, we decided to visit.
We were amazed that everything was impeccable, the food was wonderful.
We know it's a brewers' place but the gastronomic part was top notch.

“The value for money is very good. We ordered the steak and the beef and vegetable quesadilla, these dishes were good. As for her, the ice cream was absolutely excellent.
However, the service was not great and the staff seemed completely overwhelmed. We arrived at the restaurant at 2 p.m. and there were several people waiting (probably more than ten). Once we were seated, someone took our order and we had no further service after that other than receiving the food.
You should expect an Ikea cafeteria-style atmosphere and service, although the overall experience remains pleasant.“

“The chef has tried his/her best in presentation and taste of his plates. Great experience, keep creative. We have 3 dishes; fried cod steak was not salty, tender and easy to come off but may need a sauce of some kind ; fried fish roes with catch of day was beautifully presented with slightly picked vegetables to go with the pan fried or baked barracuda fillet. The roses was the highlight and last but not least was the twice cooked neck meat of the pig was fantastic. It melt in your mouth. All in all, the chef did a tremendous job, hail to the chefs and the servers who were attentive and explained the food well. Great dinning experience.“

“We were so thankful that they made space for us last night - it’s a small restaurant with presumably one seating. The hard working waiter turned us away until I asked for a recommendation for other vegan options nearby and took pity on us! We tried the Tofu with Rice, Spring Rolls, and Roasted Nut - they were all great but our favorites were in that order. They even had a vegan dessert (not on the menu) that looked amazing.“
