The value for money is very good. We ordered the steak and the beef and vegetable quesadilla, these dishes were good. As for her, the ice cream was absolutely excellent.
However, the service was not great and the staff seemed completely overwhelmed. We arrived at the restaurant at 2 p.m. and there were several people waiting (probably more than ten). Once we were seated, someone took our order and we had no further service after that other than receiving the food.
You should expect an Ikea cafeteria-style atmosphere and service, although the overall experience remains pleasant.

We arrived around 7pm and there was nobody on the outside terrace. Within 30 minutes the entire place was packed, so it's good to make a reservation. A lot of the ingredients are locally sourced from their own farm. The menu is focused on meat with a couple of vegetarian options. The ice cream is really good.
The views from the terrace are nice, although we could have done without the television in the restaurant. Prices are very reasonable and there is also a mini market next to the restaurant with fruit, bread, wine and other local items.

It takes a long time to be served, and it takes an equal amount of time to receive the food, the food is good but the waiting time to eat bothers anyone between being served and being served, it took 1 hour to wait and after eating another hour for them to come and wait for the service. The waiting time is unacceptable, the worst I've ever seen, and the staff are also in charge of only certain tables and the person who served us disappeared for 20 minutes and we were left with no one taking our order. Just come at night with nothing planned to see if it doesn't ruin the day.

Friendly, very tasty, reasonable prices. Even a small balcony with a great view.
Ambience inside very sober, fast food atmosphere.

The ridiculous way to have empty tables. Little staff. And a huge list of customers waiting to eat. Where we are told to wait either on the terrace on the street, or in the space before the restaurant. In my case, my lunch would be served at 4:00 pm. " lunch ".
Very good food, I recommend it 100%. There is usually a line to sit down, it is better to go early.

Great selection. Good portion sizes. Inexpensive. Great view. This is the reason it gets crowded. The worst thing is that the restorant looks like a warehouse from outside. You need to go to the second floor, the ground floor looks like entry to the office/warehouse.

I visited the Quinta dos Açores restaurant for lunch and, although the meal was acceptable, my experience was considerably marred by the lack of empathy from one of the staff.
When placing my order, I asked the employee to turn off the air conditioning or increase the temperature, as it was very cold. He replied that it was not possible to adjust the temperature or turn off the air conditioning because the system was networked, and that I shouldn't worry, as with the arrival of more customers, the temperature would increase. I was really surprised by this response and uncomfortable with the situation.
To my surprise, after 30 minutes, I noticed that another customer made the same request to another employee, and he promptly turned off the air conditioning. This discrepancy in service was frustrating and honestly made me consider making a written complaint about the first employee, who clearly detracted from my experience at the restaurant.
I believe that more attentive and empathetic service would have made a big difference in my visit to Quinta dos Açores.

We tried an ice cream from there in another restaurant and the ingredients list is straight out of a chemistry book, really a shame for a "local" product...
I've only been to this establishment once but I have everything good to say.
Well prepared and tasty food.
Attentive staff.
Affordable prices.
It has a children's menu.
Incredible Vista climbs Monte Brasil.

When hours are imposed on customers to make a reservation, everything is said. They only accept reservations until 7:30 pm (LOL), that is, a person who wants to go to dinner will only have to do so until 7:30 pm, having dinner before dinner time, which is simply ridiculous!!! If a customer makes a reservation, it is to be relaxed and not worry about having a table and being able to be more comfortable... with this time imposition system, people accumulate and more people come to dinner even before 8pm. I've never seen anything like this, the customer has no choice, the restaurant is in charge!!!
As for the rest, the food is reasonably good, but the service with so many people leaves a lot to be desired!

Great food, terrible service. Except for one employee, the rest are always looking at the floor, completely unaware of the customers at the tables who might need something. This time in particular, we arrived and after waiting (because they don't take reservations), we went to a table and when they gave us the menus we said that we already knew what we wanted. The employee attentively told us that her colleague would come to place the order and, to our surprise, the colleague started taking orders from tables that they hadn't yet chosen. After 5 tables we left. It's not just about having good food, you need an organized service, something that, due to lack of people or not (it's up to the bosses to determine this) doesn't happen. Another thing that you also don't understand is that there are 3 people at the counter when the service clearly needs people at the tables.
