Best restaurant on the island so far! Don't expect something cheap, but everything was divine: the octopus... the tuna... the fillet mignon... the side dishes... the desserts!! Would 1000% recommend to anyone!! The employees were extremely friendly!! Everything was divine! I recommend making a reservation.

Outstanding restaurant. Had a recommendation from a local in Sao Miguel to visit here and it didn’t disappoint. Well looked after from start to finish and the food was exceptional. We both had the rockfish which was incredibly fresh. There’s a very good reason why this place is so well reviewed so best to experience it for yourself. Well worth the short trip out of town .

This was by far the best dinner we had on Terceira. Of course, plenty of options on the menu with grilled fish, like many other restaurants on the island, but done in a really good way. Example: asking for a medium-rare tuna gets you a perfect medium-rare tuna and not a uniform grey tuna we've had in other establishments. The desserts are fantastic, if you still have some space left.
You can complement your dish with a very wide variety of wine, including many local options. Service was very attentive and friendly. You'll have to book in advance to make sure there is a table, although they accept walk-ins if there is space.
When you're on Terceira, don't miss out on Taberna Roberto.
Vegetarian options: Limited number of vegetarian options, as the menu revolves around fish and meat. You can ask for a vegetarian meal and they will tell you the options based on available ingredients.
