São João lunch with the sisters.
Great sardines with the expected accompaniment (mixed salad, boiled potato and cornbread) but with that homegrown flavor and to finish off the much-loved Fão clarinhas…Very good!

I loved visiting this wonderful restaurant that pays an excellent tribute to its Fishermen, to the Sea, placing on the table for customers to enjoy the perfect aroma, freshness and flavor of the Sea, through the best seafood, fish and with excellent service ?

Based for years at the suave mar hotel in Esposende every time I come to Portugal, I used to have lunch and dinner in this city or Porto, Braga, Viaba, Barcelos during my visits.
Due to Covid I haven't been here for 5 years. What a disappointment, the desposende restaurants have let themselves go.... little quality and exorbitant prices given the quality and taste offered. Esposende has also lost its aura...
