D Henrique is perhaps the poshest restaurant on Rua 25 de Abril, or restaurant-street as I call it, in the middle of the town. Inside it’s a lovely venue but even outside the service shows they want to set a high standard. We have eaten here before and were not disappointed. Good food, attentive service, nice ambiance, what is not to like? It’s not so cheap as other places nearby but then quality never was. Give it a try.
Been here a few years ago and returned on our next visit to Lagos. Friendly staff who speak good English and explain menu and wine options very well. Upstairs on the covered bar and terrace is preferable although you may have to book as the restaurant is popular. Menu is more imaginative and inspired than most generic menu offerings in Lagos. Plenty of quality steak and seafood options available. We both had excellent starters , goat cheese in filo pastry and stuffed mushrooms....
