A very old house full of history. Despite having been restored, it preserves many of the old customs such as the wood-burning ovens and also the employee who has worked at the Confectionery since 1967. He is extremely friendly. Valdevez cigars are delicious. A mandatory stop for anyone passing through Arcos de Valdevez.

Fantastic cakes, great coffee, wonderful. Are they a little more expensive!? Yes! Eating a pastel de Belém in Belém is not the same as eating it in Algés, right!? ?So how angry are people about the price? A difference of €0.40, yes, but they are not the same as the others.

Very beautiful store and we were received very warmly by the owners. The cigar, a typical sweet from Arcos de Valdevez, is sold individually and costs €2 each.

Certainly one of the oldest and most traditional places in Arcos where you can have a coffee and eat a cake. You can buy there the "charutos dos arcos" a kind of typical sugar and egg cupcake which has won an award. They are good and unique in taste compared to other "charutos" you find in Arcos. What is regrettable is the price of 1.80 € each, which is absolutely not justified.A shortbread type cake with fines will also cost you 1€, also very excessive price.Damage

(Translated by Google) They sold me sweets from the bows to taste toasted. Cigars are expensive and tiny. An experience not to be repeated.(Original)Venderam-me rebuçados dos arcos a saber a torrado. Os charutos são caros e minúsculos. Experiência para não repetir.

(Translated by Google) We bought 4 very expensive cigars (8 euros), when in Ponte da Barca we paid 1.20 euros each, only to get home to find that they were inedible. They were close to rotten. The store is very beautiful but it seems that it is there to deceive the most unwary “tourist”.(Original)Compramos 4 charutos caríssimos (8 euros), quando em Ponte da Barca pagamos 1,20 euro cada, para chegar a casa e constatar que não estavam comestíveis. Estavam próximos de podres.A loja é muito bonita mas parece que está ali para enganar o “turista” mais incauto.
