O Lagar serves good food, including a nice shrimp screwer and delicious xixa da cachena. While the service can be a bit unorthodox, it's generally correct and friendly. The restaurant is clean, but the chairs could be more comfortable. Be prepared for cash-only payments and limited parking. Abundant portions are a plus, and the homemade dessert is a highlight. Note that wheelchair access has some limitations, and the space can be a bit cramped for kids.
