My wife and I stumbled into Solar do Vez | Restaurante & Cafe, where Jorgé, whose family has owned and operated the establishment for the past 50 years, welcomed us like long lost cousins; promptly seating us and we were catered to by he and his mother in an unbelievably heartfelt manner, which had us all kissing and hugging as we left. The quality of the food was outstanding, the recipes were truly authentic, and the home cooking touch and superb service won our hearts over....
We ate cachena meat, cod and francesinha with cachena steak.
Everything was very good and with excellent ingredients, so much so that in a two-day stay we went there twice.
The francesinha sauce is quite different from the ones in Porto, so it's best not to go there expecting to find similarities, but equally good. And I would also like to highlight the fries, which are not pre-frozen.
Without a doubt an excellent option...

Very nice restaurant, with very friendly staff. Food tasted great. Absolutely to suggest. We had grilled octopus and fish, everything was delicious. We would especially like to thank Sam for his very nice service. (Also speaks German :) )
