“Very nice discovery, the cuisine is simple and excellent, a nice, typical place and an impeccable waiter, very nice. I highly recommend . All is well !!!! Taste their dried meat as an aperitif, and of course the house Portuguese white wine!“

“Excellent service and good dishes. There isn't much variety, and it could be a little more economical, but overall a very positive experience.
They are respectful and have a vegetarian option every day.
Congratulations on the work, it's not easy to maintain a space ;)“

“We were very well received and suggested what to have for dinner. The owner is the head of the room and the owner of the kitchen. In addition to the attentive staff, they both came to serve us at the table and greet us. We were quickly served. I highly recommend it.“

“In an out-of-the-way area, 8 minutes walk from the campervan area. Simple cuisine and family atmosphere. We cannot give an overall opinion because we each had a Francesinha (forget your knowledge of dietetics!). Extremely kind owner, shaded terrace, calm.“

“I met Mr. Luís the first day I went there for lunch. I ended up going there for dinner that same day. Excellent food, very good service. It's a shame that it's a little small, because I've noticed that it fills up quite often.“

“We got in a little before close. We were fortunate enough to get a balcony seat overlooking the town and the countryside as a whole. The view plus the amazing food is an experience I wish everyone has the pleasure to experience at least once.Easily some of the best lamb ever. The cod was delicious as well. Fantastic food with great service. The only aggravation is the fact this restaurant isn’t at a solid 5 star average. They truly deserve it.“

“For the second time I came to this restaurant, I liked it more the first time, maybe because of the price difference ?.Perhaps because it was the first time I went for lunch and the price was more generous.Fantastic food, great dessert, although I think the price of dessert is a bit exaggerated.“

“Excellent service, friendliness and a wonderful view of the calm environment surrounding this wonderful village where time seems to have stopped, once the Templar peninsula.
A recommended place to enjoy a good menu. Personally, it was an excellent octopus à lagareiro, a good wine and for dessert a walnut and pumpkin pudding. I recommend. I recommend a reservation.“

“Stopped there on a trip to see my father's birthplace. At first I was fooled by its facade, thinking it was a regular place in the middle of nowhere and how I was glad to be proved wrong. The best restaurant I've been to in Portugal by far! Great food, honest prices and superb service.“
“Simple space to take food home.Food by portion or weight, depending on the type of food. The people who served me were friendly. The food itself was good. I took rice and migas which were very good, and stewed veal, the flavor was good, but it wasn't the most tender. It works well for a meal.“

“It wasn't the best day to visit, as there were two large groups for lunch. That's why the smaller tables were a little lighter. But the food was well prepared and well served. They took a long time, it took a long time to serve.Lunch was ordered at 1:30 pm and we only finished eating at 4:00 pm.But if there is time, just go for it.“

“A family run restaurant - mom in the kitchen, dad and 2 grown kids serving. The restaurant it self is nothing to look at it's a big room with wooden tables and chairs. But this is the best meal have have had in a long time. Real home cooked food. They have a set menu of 4 dishes daily. Chicken, beef, pork, and fish, I had the chicken (it was a casserole with bacon and mushrooms served on wedge chips) my husband had the beef (it was Portuguese steak with chips, tomatoe rice and a fried egg salad on the side) Portions were generous and I ate way more than I should have. Pudim and coffee are included in the price which was fantastic. We will be back for sure.“

“Wonderful proper Portuguese roadside eatery. Friendly, generous and we discovered the Francescina, which is a very surprising dish indeed! (It's a meat and cheese toastie in a kind of tomato soup with an egg on top. It's probably got enough calories for a week!“
“Food was very good. We had the pilgrims menu which consisted of bread, butter, pate, olives, soup, main course of meat or fish, potato crisps, salad, dessert and house wine. All for €13. The meat was pork and the soup was chicken. The meal was very tasty and plentiful. They brought us extra potatoes. The service was quick and pleasant. The restaurant was busy on a Tuesday night so we were glad we had a reservation. In addition to the pilgrims menu, there was a menu option too. I recommend O Bras.“
“We were surprised that the suckling pig was cold, but after asking, we were told that there are two ways to eat it. Either cold or freshly made. It was very very good, crispy. And the garnish, spectacular; rice, migas with beans (I think), roast potatoes and fried bakery potatoes. All delicious. The dining room is small so you have to make a reservation. Clean and cozy. Very friendly staff and made sure we didn't miss anything. To repeat on a next trip.“

“After all, Saints in the house perform miracles. Being from Areias, I had been wanting to try Madeira Taste for months. It was missing! From the bolo do caco, to the cod to the kebabs, everything is great! The poncha is fabulous... Diverse menu with all the flavor of Madeira! Areias (or Além Rio) and Santo Tirso came out on top...to repeat! Several times...“
