The location is wonderful overlooking the water. The atmosphere is great. The service is good. The food was disappointing. I had the sea bass and it was just ok. My wife had chicken with mushrooms and it was rubbery. The side veggies were very good.

Give this a miss. The fish was nice but that’s the only good thing I can say. Served with a tablespoon of luke warm veg and a small potatoe. The staff were rude and uncaring of their customers, felt rushed and not valued. Presented with the bill as soon as we had finished eating but had not finished drinks. Avoid this place.

Been here many times before and always had a good meal. Unfortunately the last twice that we have been, the service has not been up to scratch with regards to the older gentleman on front of house. Actually quite rude to customers and his staff. What a shame as the rest of the staff work so hard and the food is generally good. The wine list needs to be sorted out as most of the midpriced wines are no longer available therefore you either have to choose house or very expensive. Fried Prawns were lovely and served with chips and no salad. Main courses were served with vegetables and sauté potatoes. Unfortunately the vegetables were less than a tablespoon on the plate. Meat was lovely however for each dish ordered.

We have been visiting ADP for many years now and have dined out at Clippers on a regular basis.Most recently we have visited and im saddened to say the quality and portions have declined dramatically.As an example - During our most recent visit we ordered 2 starters and 4 main meals. The starters meals were fine (melon) The 4 mains arrived - not great...Wrong sauce on 3 meals, very salty sauce and the veg and chips were simply shocking. To expand further, i had 5 chips on my plate and the veg (frozen & heated up) looked aweful, minimal in size and not fit to justify the price.The employees that served us are lovely, (always have been) its simply the food quality and portions have fallen off a cliff.Its not a cheap restuarant and its customers deserve better.A once great restaurant that is in urgent need of an uplift. My advice, go somewhere else...

Right on the promenade with the ocean in front of you. Great choice of dishes, steak, fish, prawns. Good selection of wines. The restaurant at this time of the year is very busy so book or arrive before 7pm or after 9pm. A little more expensive because of its location.

Visited Arnacao de Pera for many years now with friends and know most of the restaurants/bars.. I have to be honest and say the quality, quantity of food and service at Clippers has dropped off a cliff. My advise is to visit the much nicer Palns Beach resturant that is actually on the beach ( amazing place, food and staff) Palns beach is just down the steps to the beach, you wint be disappointed.. This is just an honest review...

We wanted to eat in a nice atmosphere like in other local restaurants. Unfortunately, the older gentleman collecting the orders introduced a very nervous atmosphere by shouting at the younger waiters. The tuna steak was heavily salted. We won't be back.

Had such a strange meal chicken with the worst sauce dressing I’ve ever had, haven’t a clue what it was, chips only a small pile tasted like garlicky cheese, and veggies very firm. My worst meal in my weeks holiday, I only ate it because I hate waste, The strange taste was on my stomach all night, waiters were good as was service, but the food was vile.
Soooo good ! And people who work there are SOOOO incredibly kind and profesionnal . Especially Jé Luis , very adorable . Mercii <33

Lovely restaurant with good choice of Italian food. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Location on the sea front, reasonably priced. Air con very welcome inside!!

Lovely setting on the beach promenade, a stylish restaurant with an extensive menu and friendly, efficient service. We had the prawn, mango and avocado salad, which was delicious. Hope to go back there for dinner one evening.
