Metrópole Restaurante & Bar Lounge

We came here about 18months ago when on holiday here and this time it was for my sister in laws 60th Birthday. I requested a special round table and they did not disappoint they gave us the best table in the house. The service was excellent the food was amazing 4 of us had steak and one had garlic shrimp all were delicious. My sister in law felt very special and we had an excellent evening Thank you. We will definately be back and definately recommend.

Very warm welcome on arrival, waiters were always happy to help, if the waiters are near they will fill up your cup ( water, coke ), very nice window to view the desserts, highly recommend for any occasion

This is the nicest restaurant in Amercao De Pera. The steaks are the best and the staff are really good and friendly, you could not ask for more. Excellent

This is an amazing restaurant. We have been twice this week and tried different dishes and different steak cuts. Everything from the bread through deserts is amazing. The steaks are at a different level and the service is amazing. The waiting team remembered us and the wine we liked. They also bought us extras to try. If you are anywhere in the Algarve you should make the effort to visit.

Good steak restaurant with many choices of various steaks. Good device and the food was fine. Reasonably priced for a steak restaurant as we had a ribeye & a sirloin steak, with pepper sauces and a portion of mushrooms.

This was such a great find! Located just a short drive from Albufeira this restaurant was our favorite one in Portugal during our 10 day stay. Wine choices, steak + service deserves as many stars as one can give.

While on holidays in Portugal, we decided to try here for food and drinks. Wow was it impressive! The service was outstanding from the minute you walked in. We had a lovely waiter Tiago who took care of us for the evening and gave his recommendations on wine and food. It was so good we made sure we came back a second time before flying back home, of course we had Tiago looking after us again. I went with the Madeira Island (garlic bread) for starter and the metrópole steak for main. Delicious food, great service, highly recommend checking it out!

We really fancied something special for an evening and we are so glad we found this place, i’d go as far as saying that it is exceptional. The service, the food and the place are all 5 star. Nothing was too much. The customer service from staff was fantastic, i left it in the hands of our waiter to pick my food for me and it was perfect, cooked to perfection. An equally nice touch for the head chef to come round all the tables and introduce herself. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone wishing to visit.

We came here last night, after looking at previous reviews and we were not disappointed,the staff are great,friendly,very knowledgeable and helpful. The food is to die for probably the best steak I've ever had. Charlie and the chocolate factory desert to cap it all off. Beautiful restaurant, great staff, fantastic food, thank you.

Visited this place on recommendation and we were not disappointed. Chose the Round the world platter to share for two and a great bottle of red wine that the waiter recommended when we said we liked a Syrah. The meat was top quality as was the wine. Could not fault the service and it was not to pricey either. Will definitely be returning

Wow wow wow. Had an amazing night at this fabulous restaurant. Being a foodie, I am quite critical when going out to eat but there was not one thing I would change. The venue is beautiful, the staff are attentive and friendly, the menu is varied, with fun names and the food was cooked and presented to perfection. A little more than we would like to pay but worth every penny. I had snow white and the seven dwarfs to start, the Burata was as fresh as a daisy and the homemade pesto was a delight. Then the flat iron steak!!! WHAT!!! now there are steaks and then there's THIS steak!!! Cooked and seasoned perfectly, nice crust and the right amount of pink yumminess. Nice addition of the crazy large shrimp on top and the sea salt flakes on the side. Served with fries which were delish but it was all about the steak. Then I couldn't resist dessert, charlie and the chocolate factory. This was a lake of melted Belgian chocolate, a chocolate brownie, strawberry, vanilla ice cream and a cute home made wafer. This was heaven and a dessert that would benefit from eating alone. This restaurant is a MUST, you will not be disappointed. Keep doing what you're doing and as Charlie said, "you've got a golden ticket!!!

Delicious cocktails, terrific service, wonderful views. We love this gem right in the middle of the corso of Taormina.
