I've had lunch at this restaurant several times and I've always enjoyed it, however, Thursday 6/6 was one of the times I didn't like it the most, the meat wasn't as usual and the potatoes on the grill were very dry and still half raw.
Very welcoming restaurant, very friendly staff and 5-star quality food! Very quick table service and hot food.
I ate roast veal with roast potatoes and rice, I highly recommend it ?

Absolutely magnificent lunch spot in the Douro Valley. While up the hill from the river itself, the vibe at this restaurant is authentic and unpretentious, in contrast to many of the trendier restaurants near the water. Delicious food, warm service and lots of locals enjoying themselves made for a lovely experience. Try the lamb (corderinho) if they have it!

A unique discovery, I was looking for a place to have lunch without visiting Armamar. We ate grilled lamb and a Vegan dish.Very well received, we immediately felt like we were at home! Excellent quality/price ratio! Here is the place to have lunch in Armamar 5 stars

We went for dinner with our children but the experience was not very good. The maids were friendly but clearly insufficient. The service took forever!!! We were told that one of the dishes took 30 minutes but it took 1h30 to be served. Some dishes were OK but the hake dish was bad. The bitoque was served cold and with insufficient accompaniment. The experience was not pleasant especially for those who come with children.
