Delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced, this is a change from restaurants for tourists.

We reserve. It wasn't busy but there was some healthy movement
It feels like a family restaurant with friendly staff
We ate a plate of sausages and cheese and an Arouquense steak
I just didn't like the potatoes, they could have been fried twice to improve the consistency and they became more crunchy. But they were very good anyway

We were unable to speak Portuguese, but fortunately our very kind waitress was fluent in English and even spoke German - both was not expected but of course nice
