A timeless and familiar space. Whenever I spend a few days in Arouca it is mandatory to come here for lunch or dinner. I've always gone there with my family, and we always go for the trout, which are farmed in-house and are a specialty. This time, I tried the lamb in the oven and was once again amazed by its quality. A very tender meat, very well seasoned, so refined and with such a good and familiar flavor that it is difficult to put it into words. You won’t leave here hungry or thirsty! the doses are very well served. There is no menu and it is mandatory to book well in advance. This system is important so that there is no waste and guarantees the freshest food possible, as it is necessary to choose what we want to eat at the time of booking. Furthermore, it makes the meal very relaxed, as the delicacies flow to the table very fluidly. Desserts are also a specialty. A creamy milk with a unique flavor and my favorite dessert is from this restaurant and is called dry soup. A flavor, a texture so simple and so good and I won't reveal more! Mr. António in the living room and his wife in the kitchen, take this restaurant to a higher level every day through their friendliness, the art of hospitality and good cuisine. I will come back again and again.

The oven-roasted Arouquesa veal is truly divine, accompanied by roast potatoes, rice and sala. A delight. To drink the aco.panha house harvest very well.
