With a banal, unattractive decor, it certainly wouldn't be my first choice. However, the person running the kitchen makes all the difference. A tasty and well-prepared cachupa, with good quality sausages, above-average cod with cream changed my expectation of having a good average meal for the better. It is always a joy for the palate when we are treated to the mastery of doing well. On repeat.
