The O Barril Restaurant is located in Rondulha between Arruda dos Vinhos and Vila Franca, it is a Tasca with a capital T....
A family atmosphere, all the employees are extremely friendly.
The specialty is Bife de Toiro Bravo, which can be cooked Portuguese style, with cheese, cream and mushrooms, peppers, cheese, etc, etc... it's really worth trying, the meat is tasty and of good quality. I ate it with cream and mushrooms.
For those who don't like Toiro, there is grilled fish, or as I show here, Pork a Lagareiro tenderloins, tender and juicy.
Manager Catarina, daughter of the Owners, is extremely friendly.
And then good wine, good dessert and a price that is no longer used.....
10 Euros for a complete meal.....
Words for what, it's all 5 stars.... sometimes we look for quality, friendliness, and a good price.... and we find all of this at Barril.
I recommend and will return....

For the first time I went there for lunch today and I really enjoyed it. I ate the old Portuguese style bull steak and it was very good. Definitely worth repeating. I booked a table for 1:30 pm, got in straight away and didn't have to wait any time for the food. Congratulations on everything and also for the friendliness of the employees. Thanks see you soon.

After 17 years, I'm back.They have not lost any of their essence.They serve you like at home. Attentive and friendly.The dishes as always, quality and quantity in the right measure.We were 6 adults, with coffees and desserts €60.I will return, alone or accompanied.
