“We came here twice for dinner and both were fabulous. The owner speaks little to no English but we managed fine with our limited Portuguese! He does everything himself so service can sometimes be slow but he is so attentive and looked after us amazingly both times we visited. Food was delicious, cooked beautifully, and the portions were extremely generous. Good quality beer and wine on tap. Will certainly be visiting again if I return to Lisbon and I’d recommend anyone else to do the same :)“

Our family enjoyed a delicious feast of javali, porco and borrego, with enough to take home for another day. After an hour or so bathing in the river pool, this is a wonderful way to wind up a hot afternoon.“

“The food was lovely. An amazing treat. We would return simply for the polvo and rice. Wouldn’t recommend with children though, the service is quite stiff and the restaurant quiet so was the least welcoming for families of all the restaurants we have ever been to in Portugal. However we had a nice time overall.“
