Bad experience for my first time in Aveiro.
Initially we received poor service, they didn't seat us at a table that was CLEARLY free, we had to question and point to a smaller one that was yet to be set up...where they didn't even bother to change the tablecloth or at least straighten it on the table, thus, putting the dishes above the way it was.
I ordered a picanha and informed that I didn't eat one of the sides and asked if I could exchange it, and the attendant simply said: YOU JUST DON'T EAT IT. That simple.
Even with this boring start, we decided to continue there (bad decision), where we were waiting for the main dishes and they simply FORGOT the one from one of the people at the table. There were 3 of us, they took 2 dishes and they thought it was NORMAL. When we called the employees about 3 times, the third time they looked at us and replied: there's nothing else released, they may have forgotten, but who knows...I'll order it?...WHAT?
With all this DISSERVICE we were still charged the full amount for this terrible experience. Total disregard...and I hope they weren't xenophobic...already feeling like they were!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!
Ah... remembering that they didn't change my dish garnish and they still didn't take one of the ones that already came and that I didn't request to remove.
We paid DEARLY and we didn't get any apology, at least.

The food here was delicious and the service was excellent. The chicken and salmon were very tender, the potatoes were crispy and the vegetables were well cooked. The ambience was also nice and very tidy, plus the location near the water is very nice. The staff really tried hard, asked several times if everything was OK and was very friendly.
