Getting to know these Portuguese towns, we discovered this small but great restaurant with a small but very well prepared and thought out menu,
One day I ate a delicious octopus salad that was very well served, that day I left very satisfied.
The frango (chicken is prepared very well)
The lasagna I tried was good but nothing you wouldn't try elsewhere
But they prepare the meat very well.
Would I go back?

This was by far the most authentic Portuguese meal on our entire trip to Portugal. We happened to come to this restaurant, which is probably mostly visited by locals. There were only four dishes on the menu and one of them was already sold out. Since we didn't speak Portuguese and the owner who served us only spoke broken English, communication was a bit difficult, but in the end it worked out and we had a delicious meal. First we were served olive bread, then there was a typical Portuguese vegetable soup as a starter and as a main course grilled chicken with salad and potatoes. There was a carafe of wine with the meal and an espresso at the end. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great and the value for money was absolutely unbeatable. For us, this was really a highlight on our trip through Portugal, as we imagine typical Portuguese food to be, it definitely deserves five stars.
