I start with the reception of the employees, who are undoubtedly one of the warmest and most genuine, and absolutely nothing was missed.As for the snacks and tapas, simply fabulous! Made with wonderful taste and a very diverse wine cellar. Tourist Trap.We ordered mixed toast and they didn't have ham or cheese.We paid almost 8 euros for two buttered toasts and two coffees.The second toast, dry and hard, arrived when we had already had our coffees, despite being the only customers on the terrace.We leave it whole.The next day we went to the nearby Onda Flor pastry shop, it was full of people and both the breakfast and the pastries were extraordinary.

Really disappointing meal in here. Leaving 2 stars as the gent on the floor was very professional.Tinned sardines being served In a tile then flamed on brandy as arrival, tasted like petrol. Shocking really, disrespect to all the other restaurants serving fresh goods.Fried chicken tasted off, something went really wrong with the marinade.We ordered 2 types of rice which was tasty.I would avoid.

The grilled sardines were not fresh and were definitely either canned, frozen or bottled. These were not fresh in any way. The sardines were served with the head and tail removed and were a grey/brown inside just like when canned. This is NOT the way to serve sardines nor represent Portugal. This place is a disgrace to fresh seafood and to Portugal. The “show” of cooking the sardines on the roof tile was just that, a show for the local tourists, and im not a tourist. It was made to hide the fact that these were not fresh in any way. What a horrible experience. So not recommend this place.Also, the server said the head and tail were removed to “help” in preparation. That was a line if i ever heard one.Finally, it was JUST sardines, and no sides. Six measly headless canned sardines lit on fire to act as if there was some preparation. Please do not go here. Fine somewhere more local, not a tourist trap, and get a good meal at a reasonable price. I mean, 14 euro for 6 sardines from a can that cost 1 euro at Lidil or Ping Doce. I could have done the same at home and still hated it, but id be in 70 euro and thats a lot of wine i could buy instead to wash it down.

This is a lovely little restaurant situated in the pictureque centre of Aveiro. Our party of 10 thoroughly enjoyed all the food & excellent value wine. Lots to recommend!

Very good restaurant. The fish soup was delicious and the music is top. From Bob Marley to Kendrick Lamar…very chill sound. The rice with beans was good, tea of the house was very good and the toasts are nice as well.
