Very good restaurant. Excelent reception!!!

Very well served, the dish in photo cod, half dose. A restaurant with a good, welcoming atmosphere, I like having a differentiating wine cellar.

Very good service and excellent food. Room staff very friendly and attentive. A beautiful, welcoming dining room, ideal for a good meal with family or friends. Very well prepared cod, very well served meat. We liked it and will be doing it again on the next visit.

I give 5 stars to this experience, which went very well! I highly recommend it ?We went to celebrate a family birthday and chose Caravela for lunch.The entire experience was incredible, starting with the pleasant atmosphere and friendly employees.We chose some of the specialties that caught our attention the most and the food was all great.The caravel cod had a great flavor, the caravel steak was very well served and tasty. The barbecue francesinha was also very well served and the ingredients were of quality. We also ordered half a dose of breaded bread, which wasn't surprising but wasn't bad either.The prices are a little above average but I think it's worth it considering the quality of the entire experience. We will definitely be back ?

Place with plenty of seating capacity, which makes service a little slow. Friendly and competent staff. Good cod dishes, other options are not very well served, namely the grilled squid and almost just boiled potatoes.

We were on the way to Bilbao and we stopped to eat because of the reviews. First they presented us with a board with cheeses, sausages, a variety of salad, sticks, olives, etc., all very complete and which they serve you without asking for it (obviously they charge for it). We ordered half portions and luckily we did because the portions are extremely exaggerated, with the average two or three people can eat perfectly. In my case I wanted to try the baked cod and the flavor was good but the cod was not tender and was difficult to chew. My companion ate lamb ribs that looked like dinosaurs, they were huge and an exaggerated quantity for the half portion he ordered, in his case he liked them but he could only eat two of them, in addition to rice, salad and French fries.Correct service, a little slow but this in Portugal is quite common. In short, it was correct, but I recommend half portions or sharing with whatever diners you are.

Here is one of the good reasons why we chose to live in Portugal...????When you go to a restaurant, you practically only eat FRESH food, the portions are often gargantuan, you are very well received, always with the banana, the prices are more than fair and if you don't manage to eat everything, which is often the case, we suggest you pack the rest to take it away... ??Yesterday evening, we went to Caravella, a traditional, very famous and popular restaurant which is 7 minutes from the house... a perfect success...!!! ?????We only took 2 1/2 doses, Caravella style cod for me, at least 600 grams and Nicole, baked veal, same quantity, well we were only able to eat half ?... the other half will make us tomorrow's meal at noon... ???Thank you to the whole team for this great time, we will come back with great pleasure and if we have to invite or have a dinner with friends, we will know where to go... ???????✌Heeeuuu... small correction, we are not... tourists or vacationers, but new residents in your magnificent country... ??

I could give it 4 stars, as there was a mistake between the waiters and taking my dish to another table, which took more than an hour, but as the food was very good, I gave it 5 stars. We ate delicious oven-baked cod that comes with mashed potatoes. Sooooo good.
